“You just need to think about what you want” I heard her saying.
And when hearing those words coming out of her mouth I knew that it was the exact opposite what I needed to do.
However if I hadn’t had known better, I may have innocently looked into that direction. If I hadn’t had the understanding that I have today, I would have most likely dived deeper into my troubled thinking by trying to figure things out with my personal thinking.
Without really understanding where the real answers reside.
Let me explain what I mean.
Whenever we have something that is bothering us, some kind of challenge or problem that we are facing, our thinking is in the first place that what is creating the problem.
If it wasn’t for our ability to use our personal minds, we would simply go forward in life with what we have in the moment. If it wasn’t for our personal thinking we would not have an opinion about what it is that is happening to us and around us.
It’s our ability to use our personal minds that gets us sometimes into a troubled state of mind allowing us to have an experience of a challenge. The more excessive is our thinking, the lower is our level of understanding and the more challenging life appears to us.
And on the other hand, the quieter is our mind the more we are able to connect with that source within us, that universal mind, the deeper is our level of understanding and the more effortless is our experience of life.
The more we think about our problems, the deeper we dive into our personal thinking. And the more we do this, the worse we tend to feel and the less open we are for allowing new answers to appear into our awareness.
Therefore thinking about our problems is never the answer, but it’s always counterproductive. And on the other hand if we want to find solutions we need to look into a completely different direction.
We need to actually be able to let go of our problems and allow our busy minds to relax.
And when we do this something within us opens up. There’s actually more space in our mind for new thoughts to arise and for us to find these so called solutions.
This is when our whole experience changes. We experience a shift in our understanding and without any effort from our side, we simply know what to do.
It’s that inner knowing that we come in contact with when our minds become still and our thinking relaxes.
Our personal thinking is an amazing tool that allows us to experience life. However when it comes to enjoying life and living our lives effortlessly we also need to know when to let go of our thinking and access something deeper within.
Those times when we experience challenges and problems letting go fo our personal mind is the answer we seek.
We don’t need to try to find solutions but it’s already built into us to experience new insights and move forward in life. We simply need to relax more and let go, and our answers will find their way to us.
It’s in that space in the stillness of our minds when we become aware of those answers and it becomes clear for us to how to go forward in life.
The answers that we seek were there within us all along. We simply needed to get quiet enough to be able to hear them and allow them to shift our experience.
Sharing an understanding that allows us to connect more with that deeper part within us, so that we can find our own answers from within, find that greater sense of wellbeing and have relationships that feel good.
